Historic Designation (HD) Volunteers
NPF’s Historic Designation (HD) Volunteers help with neighborhood and property owner outreach as well as basic research as needed for NPF’s historic designation projects. These volunteers are typically made up of property owners who live in, or have interest in, the building or district that is requesting designation assistance. However, the committee is open to all volunteers who want a hands on experience in historic designation projects. Opportunities include attending public meetings, organizing and participating in neighborhood canvasses and general archival research on Nevada’s buildings and residential neighborhoods.
Time Commitment: There is no required time needed for these projects. However, certain tasks may have strict deadlines.
