Help the community, help the environment, and score yourself a volunteer discount when you volunteer at Habitat for Humanity's Dutchess County ReStore and put your talents to work!
Volunteers provide support to Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County in a wide variety of ways. ReStore's primary objective is to raise funds to support our mission work of eliminating poverty housing. Our secondary objective is to reduce the amount of waste entering the landfills by giving used items a second life!
In order to achieve this great work, we need you! Volunteers help us in every way imaginable: administrative duties, social media management, loading furniture into the store and into customer vehicles, merchandising, community outreach, customer service, recycling, and many other ways! Volunteers also help ensure that ReStore is a great experience for donors and shoppers by providing outstanding customer service.
Training: Be sure to ask for your volunteer handbook when arriving for your first volunteer shift. We will also provide on the job training to all who are interested.
