The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) is a vibrant, entrepreneurial nonprofit that is committed to making our community a great place for all children to grow up. We are seeking a Dance Instructor to add sizzle to our line-up of evening electives that we offer to teens at our new Redwood City High School Center.
When: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:30-8pm (now through December 9th)
Where: BGCP Redwood City Clubhouse
What: We are looking for instructors who have experience working with all levels of skill and interest in dance, yet be capable of choreographing a final performance that shines light on all performers for a showcase on November 18th. The ideal instructor will be comfortable leading middle and high school club members of varying skill and experience levels. He/She will need to be flexible and funny, and connect easily with our young adult members.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula's vision is that all young people, if they work hard, can live fulfilling lives with a good education, a fair paying job, decent housing, and the ability to raise a family. We want kids' futures to depend more upon their own actions and less upon the circumstances into which they were born.
It's an incredible time to live in Silicon Valley. Many are enjoying unprecedented levels of growth and wealth. People from all over the world are striving to move here to participate in our culture of optimism and opportunity. At the same time, this prosperity isn't being felt by all, and too many young people are growing up disconnected from what makes our community so dynamic.
