Event Committee Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for dedicated volunteers who would like to serve on a volunteer committee for our annual fundraising event, Fight For Air Climb, which will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. Committee meets monthly from September through April at various locations. The event takes place at The VUE Charlotte.

Fight For AIr Climb:
The Fight for Air Climb is one of the American Lung Association's signature fundraising events. With events in more than 45 cities, participants young and old climb to raise funds in support of the mission of the American Lung Association: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Last year alone, Fight for Air Climbs raised more than $7 million to help provide lifesaving education, research and advocacy so we can beat lung disease and soon find a cure.

POSITION SUMMARY: There are several committee roles available. All talents and skills are welcome. **Must be a non-smoker**

Volunteer Committee Roles:

• Sponsorship Recruitment
• Team Recruitment
• Logistics
• Entertainment
• Food/Beverage
• Marketing/Publicity

Requirements:

Committee members must be able to:

• Attend monthly committee meetings (September through April)
• Recruit new teams and cultivate returning teams
• Secure sponsors and in-kind donors
• Serve as advocates for American Lung Association
