Hands
Connect with an isolated older adult.

Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a telephone-based program that provides socially and physically isolated older adults an opportunity to connect, learn, and have fun with others in their community and across the country. Our program offers social and educational classes, support groups, and friendly conversation - all over the telephone - all from the comfort of home.

We're looking for a music-loving individual to facilitate a "Name That Tune" or "Sing-Along" class for our Winter 2019 session, January 7 - April 5, 2019. The time commitment is up to you. You can facilitate a class how often you'd like during this 13-week period, e.g., weekly, bi-monthly, etc. We do ask that you plan the class content, as our program has limited staff. This means you will be doing your own research to come up with topics and songs for the class. Hey, that's a plus...full creative control!

We will train you on the telephone conference call system we use and provide ongoing support.

This volunteer opportunity is completely virtual and can be done anywhere. All you need is a telephone, computer, and internet connection.

Thank you for considering this opportunity and we hope you'll join us!
