Work with students to discover, develop and implement goals and ways to give what they willing can to others. Students are mixed ages from 13 - 18. Meets on Fridays only. Since our goal is to make learning an engaging and inspiring experience for teens in the greater Grand Rapids area, we accomplish this by utilizing non-typical, non-traditional ways of working with youth. The National Science Institute is built upon the idea of people helping each other. Everybody has something to contribute, and everybody has something to learn. We are seeking volunteers, both in Grand Rapids, as well as online, to help us provide more and better services to those who want to help make the world a little bit better.
