About

GRANT WRITING

Focus solely on researching and writing grants and/or project pitches to gain financial and logistical support for Project 1808 and its initiatives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Research local, national, and international grant opportunities

  2. Draft, edit and submit grant and donation applications

  3. Track and keep records of opening and closing due dates for applications

  4. Guarantee that all application materials are submitted on time

Required
  • Familiarity with the organization’s purpose, mission, and vision.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding ability to work in teams and collaborate with others

  • Ability to work quickly and with few resources

  • Strong research abilities using general search engines, databases, and other tools

  • Experience writing grants

Preferred
  • Experience writing grants for a non-profit organization

  • Prior experience and success fundraising for a non-profit organization

  • Knowledge of annual or ongoing funding opportunities
