QSIT Information Session Volunteers needed

We are looking for people who are interested in working with adult students participating in our Website Design courses. Specifically, we want volunteers who enjoy working with diverse populatiions .

As our program is designed to help prepare students for real work, our population includes individuals of a variety of ages and backgrounds with a range of computer skills, including some who may have had limited exposure to computers and software programs.

For this event, we need volunteers who can help us coordinate the Information Session for interested applicants. As a volunteer, you will be asked to help set up the event, prepare registration materials and help facilitate contact information for each attendee.

We want volunteers who are friendly, and able to talk to students as well as leaders in the community and corporate world.

Volunteers must attend a required Orientation session, during which time you will learn more about QSIT and the specifics of this upcoming event.
