THINK Together is currently looking for interns to support and grow in our organization within the following LA County cities of Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs, Little Lake, Whittier, Lynwood, Los Nietos, El Rancho and also in Orange County in the cities of Tustin, Orange, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove and Santa Ana.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, provides administrative assistance and data support for a team of Quality Assurance Coaches. Completes or assists with various duties related to the provision of excellent student services, including site and material preparation, data entry, scheduling, and student record keeping. Completes regular administrative work with minimal supervision and completes projects or occasional work as directed. As an Operations Assistant, you will be working with business data supporting our afterschool programs; including but not limited to, youth services/student attendance, program evaluations/student achievement, and supplemental services operating support. Manages telephone and other communications, prepares and proofs documents and spreadsheets, assists as needed with other duties.

Responsibilities Include

  • Organizes and prepares educational and other materials; stores and checks resources; organizes materials for office support
  • Enters information into a variety of spreadsheets, forms and records, follows instructions regarding protection of personal information
  • Keeps records for various aspects of the THINK programs (for example, attendance records)
  • Performs general office duties (photocopying, faxing, filing) as needed
  • Assists with office clean up as needed or requested
  • Works on special projects_ as assigned
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent unplanned requests and/or delays
  • Reviews incoming calls and messages and triages communication to others as needed
  • Creates/maintains spreadsheets to enter, tract and maintain data. Creates formulas to compute mathematical outputs using Excel
  • Proofreads and otherwise provides quality control checks for work performed
