About

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Data Support Assistant works with the Regional Operations Analyst (ROA) to ensure that all the data that supports our regional operations is complete and accurate. As a Data Support Assistant you will be based in the region’s hub office and work with the ROA to oversee the collection, management and reporting of business data supporting THINK Together programs; including but not limited to, participant information, service data, program evaluation, student achievement, and operating support. This position will require use of our student information system. Also note that requirements may evolve and change according to business demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Support Assistant will assist the ROA to:

  • Audit attendance packets to ensure compliance with THINK Together policies.
  • Log attendance packet errors and ensure that they are corrected and ready for school district partners.
  • Schedule and facilitate trainings on data quality and enforce data quality standards; identify and resolve data quality issues (integrity, timeliness, accuracy and completion).
  • Organize own work daily, weekly and monthly to ensure key deadlines are met and to ensure work is completed on time and according to instructions. Become familiar with the regional workload and tracks deadlines and schedules as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong ability to identify areas of concern and escalate to appropriate levels
  • Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis Test if over 18

  • Previous experience with YouthServices.net and Survey Monkey preferred
  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills. Good proofreading skills.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:

  • WORD processing (minimum 45 wpm)
  • EXCEL(set up, design, maintain spreadsheets, create calculation formulas)
