Join the Movement to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis!
Each year, the Greater Northwest Chapter of the National MS Society hosts our Anchorage Walk MS event. Walk MS is our rallying point, a time and a place for us to stand together and to be together -- to help raise critical funds that support cutting edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward.
We're looking for volunteers to help with checking in walkers, providing support along the route at key corners and street crossings and help with cleaning up after the event.

Mission Statement
We will cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives.
Description
The National MS Society, Greater Northwest Chapter educates, inspires and empowers those affected by multiple sclerosis. We break down barriers - both physical and emotional - in the home, in the workplace and in the community. We build confidence that people with MS can live the best possible lives as individuals, as family members, as employees and as members of the larger community. No other local MS organization provides the breadth and depth of services or involves more people in the movement to bring about a world free of MS.
The Greater Northwest chapter supports those living with MS in the states of Washington, Alaska and Montana.
