The Crozet Fall Arts and Crafts Festival is in need of at least three artists or arts professionals to participate as Exhibitor judges at the Festival on October 8-9, 2016. Our juried Art and Craft Festival includes just over 100 fine art and craft Exhibitors. We award Best in Show, 2nd, and 3rd place awards based on originality, execution, and presentation, with winners determined by a combined total from the judges.

This is a volunteer position but you will get free admission to the Festival for the weekend and you are invited to attend our catered Artist Dinner on Saturday evening when we award the prizes.

Judging takes place Saturday, October 8. With about 100 artists, if judges spend 1 minute in each booth it should take a couple hours. Judging should be started fairly early in the day so final scores can be calculated before the Festival closes on Saturday.

The Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival, located at Claudius Crozet Park in historic Crozet, is just 20 minutes west of Charlottesville. The Festival benefits the non-profit, community owned Park and brings artists and crafters from around the country who come to share and sell their work with our community. The Festival also brings out of town arts and crafts patrons to the area, promoting Albemarle County and the Charlottesville area as a destination for art and craftwork, as well as the many restaurants, vineyards, and breweries. With food, beer, wine, live music, craft demonstrations, and children's activities, the Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate Autumn in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
