Global Green USA’s Coalition for Resource Recovery helps generate value by transforming waste into assets. The Coalition identifies and promotes effective waste diversion technologies and programs through conducting pilots and related research.
We're seeking the help of a researcher to help with research, analysis and writing for a report on the economics of composting versus landfill in California municipalities. The report is intended as a guide and decision support tool for municipal leaders within California's policy and solid waste framework. The research is also important nationally as cities such as DC and NYC consider moving toward rate based structures that exist now in California.
The project will take a combination of analytical abilities related to economic feasibility and logistics.
Research will be done remotely with weekly or bi-weekly meetings held at Global Green's office in midtown Manhattan. Volunteers will be credited appropriately in the published report.
