The Hospice of Baton Rouge provides trained volunteers for additional support to hospice patients and families. Bilingual hospice volunteers are trained to relieve the primary caregiver by sitting with patients that speak a different language, which more patients speak Spanish than any other language, and provide companionship.
Volunteer hospice training is FREE and you will receive ongoing support.

To ensure that no one will ever die alone, in pain or discomfort. Our staff and volunteers work together as an IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) for each patient & care giver to provide the best possible comfort care.
