WNY Independent Living is looking for a strong individual who would be willing to help the Admin Assistant of the Community Engagement Department. This individual will be assisting with the numerous events that WNYIL holds each year.

Tasks will consist of bulk mailings, assisting the admin assistant and the event coordinator.

Description

We are looking for Volunteers to:

1) Assist at the American With Disabilities Act (ADA) Celebration on:

a) July 25, 2014 - Sheridan Park - Tonawanda - from 10-2

b) July 24, 2014 - Hyde Park - Niagara Falls - from 10-2

c) July 28, 2014 - Kiwanis Park - Batavia, New York from 10-2

Volunteers can assist with playing games, serving food, clean up, set up and assisting individuals with disabilities in being a part of the Picnic and fun!

The Accessible Fishing Derby: Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Old Fort Niagara and 3F Club - from Sunrise to 3 pm (all shifts available). To assist with registration, set up, clean up and running baskets from the Basket Auction.

Inter-Agency Support - All three centers in Niagara Falls, Batavia and Buffalo can utilize volunteers to assist with bulk mailings, filings, copying/shredding, looking for sponsors and donors, and agency administrative assistance.
