AccentCare Hospice is looking for MUSIC COMPANIONS to visit our hospice patients.
If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity, then this is for you!
Orientation and training to be a AccentCare Hospice Volunteer is extensive, but very valuable.
All volunteers must:
- Interview and paperwork review session with Volunteer Manager
- Have an untarnished criminal background history
- Have a brief, simple physical, offered to you at no cost
- Take a Tuberculosis skin test, offered to you for free at our office
- Complete Self-study online modules that provide a thorough understanding of hospice
- Volunteers who are 18 or over can work directly with patients, but volunteers under 18 are welcome also to work in our office making phone calls to patients and helping out.
