The Peregrine Fund is a non-political, solution-oriented, hands-on, science-based organization. Founded in 1970, our mission is to "conserve birds of prey worldwide". It is no small task but with projects across the globe, we are trying. The Headquarters of The Peregrine Fund is in Boise, located within the World Center for Birds of Prey.

The World Center for Birds of Prey, located off Cole Road, is also home to the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center (VMIC). The VMIC operates as a world class public education facility and you could be a part of it! Our visitors from across the globe primarily interact with our dedicated volunteers.

We are currently seeking Gift Shop Ambassador volunteers. The Gift Shop Ambassadors serve as the first and last representation of the organization and help communicate to guests the importance of what we do as well as what to expect during their visit .This role assists in meeting the Peregrine Fund's mission by collecting admissions, membership dues, donations, and selling merchandise.

Currently recruiting for AM and PM shifts available Tuesday - Sunday.
Our volunteer shift times are 10am - 1:30pm and 1:30pm - 5:00pm. Let's chat!

This role could grow to include other opportunities such as Docent, habitat restoration, and special events.
