Want to help find more dresses for our upcoming charity gown?
Have any experience with alterations and want to help brides try on dresses the day of the event?
We are hosting a chairty gown sale at the Clarion Hotel in Concord on Oct. 16th. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to HERS Breast Cancer Foundation.
We are looking for reliable volunteers to help us find more dresses before the event, and also volunteers to help brides try on the dresses the day of the event.
We want to show brides what the dress "could be" if it was altered, so anyone with alteration or retail experience would be ideal.
Come help support a great local cause and help brides find their dress! Lunch will be provided.

Womens Cancer Resource Center (WCRC) has been supporting the community since 1986. They have grown, changed and matured and worked hard to create alliances and partnerships that enable them to reach out to and care for thousands of women each year. The center’s compassionate and knowledgeable staff and volunteers understand the complexity of cancer. Whether you’re at risk because of your personal health history, going through treatment, or living with a cancer experience, WCRC is there for you.
All of WCRC’s programs and services are FREE of charge and include: information and referral to community resources, support groups, in-home support, 1 on 1 psychotherapy, emergency financial assistance, cancer and wellness workshops and help navigating through our complex and overwhelming health care system to ensure appropriate care and treatment. Your participation in our October Charity Wedding Gown Sale and Bridal Fair will help raise money to sustain all of these vital services for women with cancer.

Come help Brides-to-be say "Yes to the Dress." Urlocalbride is hosting a "Match made in Heaven" Charity gown sale and wedding fair on Sunday, October 12th from 11AM-4PM. The event is at the Hilton Doubletree in Pleasanton, CA.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the WCRC!!! We need volunteers throughout the day to help run the store.
Come help brides pick their wedding dress!
