Help make hospice patient's lives better using your therapy pet. We love dogs, but are open to any licensed pet therapy, from cats to pigs to mini horses (their full sized brethen won't fit in our inpatient unit). Come visit our inpatient unit or a partnering nursing home, assisted living facility, or personal care home and bring joy when patients see your pets. Our patients in facilities often have left their furbabies at home, and although we allow pet visitation in our inpatient unit, no visitation is long enough for our failies who have loved pets at home.
Scheduling is very flexible. We'd like to request once weekly visitations, but would be happy for every other week, or even once monthly. Our previous therapy dog became too old to make rounds and we sincerely miss him, as do out families.
We serve the entire south Atlanta area, and our inpatinet unit is in McDonough, GA. All locations could benefit from your help!
