The Bubble Foundation Volunteer Wellness Educators teach wellness classes to pre-K and elementary students in one of our partner NYC schools (currently in Manhattan- Harlem and Washington Heights, Brooklyn- Bedstuy and Brownsville, and Bronx- Mott Haven). Volunteers will use Bubble curricula to teach one or two interactive 45-min classes per week on topics relevant to food and health (e.g., cooking, nutrition, gardening, agriculture, food literacy). Wellness Educators are asked to commit to teach for the entire academic semester and will be paired with at least one co-teacher with complementary skills. We provide complete training to our volunteers.

Throughout this volunteer experience, Wellness Educators will gain skills in: nutrition education, garden education, culinary arts education, cooking, teaching, classroom management, teamwork, public speaking, working with kids and underserved populations.
