Tutor-student pair hard at work

One hour...one child...one day a week...a lifetime of dividends

Tutor with Invest in Youth!

Invest in Youth is a Seattle-based non-profit organization that provides free tutoring to local elementary students across the city. Will you join us this year?

Each tutor is matched with the same student for the whole school year and the pair works together to close any gaps in major content areas like math and English that the student may have.

Educational materials and activities, training and support, and heartfelt appreciation are provided at every session. Tutoring runs through May, and takes place once every week across four conveniently located elementary schools in Seattle.

We are currently seeking tutors at four schools:

  • Beacon Hill Elementary
  • Daniel Bagley Elementary
  • Thurgood Marshall Elementary
  • South Shore Elementary

Description

Invest In Youth ( www.investinyouth.org) is a business-to-youth tutoring program created in 1997 by financial advisor Harriett Morton.
