Our Hospice Volunteers can do a variety of different activities! They offer support in companionship, light housekeeping, running errands, writing cards, emotional support, special projects and so much more! As for college students, it is great to put on a ressume and to get your foot in the door for other job opporunities. Celtic Hospice Volunteers are fully trained to better support the patient and family members. Volunteers receive training in matters from medical issues to spiritual concerns to psycho-social issues to bereavement. A hospice volunteer is present in many different ways for a patient and their family, but above all, being a hospice volunteer will forever change your life and your outlook on life.
