One hour...one child...one day a week...a lifetime of dividends
Tutor with Invest in Youth!
Invest in Youth is a Seattle-based non-profit organization that provides free tutoring to local elementary students across the city. Will you join us this year?
The program is pretty straight-forward: each tutor is matched with the same student for the whole school year and the pair works together on things like playing math games, reading stories or working on homework, for one hour each week.
Educational materials and activities, training and support, and heartfelt appreciation are provided at every session. Tutoring runs through May, and takes place once every week across five conveniently located elementary schools in Seattle.
We are currently seeking tutors at five schools:
- Beacon Hill Elementary
- Daniel Bagley Elementary
- Roxhill Elementary
- Thurgood Marshall Elementary
- South Shore Elementary

Description
Invest In Youth ( www.investinyouth.org) is a business-to-youth tutoring program created in 1997 by financial advisor Harriett Morton. The program was originally designed for investment professionals who are often available after 3pm because of the early market closing on the West Coast, but has since expanded to include financial professionals from a variety of industries.
