ORGANIZATION: Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service

  • 30 people are interested

The Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service (IRIS) is a refugee resettlement agency in Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a gracious welcome as well as tangible tools and connections to help refugees and immigrants achieve self-sufficiency in the United States.

Many of our clients do not speak English which means our volunteer interpreters play an important role in our organization, and are always useful allies in aiding our mission of helping immigrants and refugees.

We are searching for Spanish translators who can help interpret during some of our Citizenship Clinics every Friday at our office from 10a.m. to 2p.m.

Interested in helping out? Email Bill Warners, the Volunteer Coordinator, at bwarners@ladiocese.org (free training provided).
