The old Sears Headquarters in Chicago's North Lawndale/Homan Sq neighborhood is being converted into affordable housing for 181 families. We'd love to tell the story of the renovation of this historic property, and of the warm home it will provide to families who will move in, starting this December.
We need a videographer capable of filiming construction, interviews, and famileis moving in and piece together a short (3-4 mins) video. Filming will take place on 2-3 dates between now and late December, starting September 22 if possible.
For someone who loves community development or historic restoration, this will be a fun project. For our non-profit, it will make a huge difference in how we tell the story, and direct more resources to develop the community!

Mercy Housing Lakefront's Learning Program is designed to help our adult learners achieve their learning goals. Whether it is reading comprehension, math skills, GED preparation, financial literacy, computer skills, or entry into college or the workforce, our staff and volunteer tutors are there to support our adult learner. Mercy Housing Lakefront has properties in the Uptown, Austin, South Loop, Roseland, Englewood, and Near North.
