Volunteers needed at woodlot that provides firewood to those in need!

We are seeking volunteers to help out at our woodlot at Nativity Lutheran Church. Nativity Lutheran serves our broader Bend community by providing firewood for those who need help in meeting their home heating needs. We welcome individuals or groups of men, women, teens and kiddos to support our cause. There are opportunities to stack, sort, chop, learn to use the splitter and more - something for everyone!

We generally meet every Saturday starting at 9:00a until noon. Getting started is simple, a signed waiver is required, then some instructions and orientation and you'll get to work!

This is a perfect opportunity for high school students or other individuals or teams looking to fulfill community service hours.
