Calling all Photographers
Add to your portfolio while providing a valuable service to the community. Your artistic prowess will connect supporters to action on the ground and provide other volunteers with fond memorabilia from their experiences.
REACH hosts numerous volunteer activities and events throughout the year. Volunteer Photographers are sought to shoot Home Repair Events, Building Openings, and Community Building Activities.
Your subjects may be volunteer tradespeople providing free home repairs for low-income seniors, yoga classes, financial education, and celebrations for the expansion of new affordable housing
Settings will be a mixture of indoor/outdoor, large/small groups, and different light settings. In your response, don't hesitate to share what type of photography you enjoy.
Volunteer must have own camera, basic knowledge of photography, and ability to submit photos within 1 week of shoot. Please be ready to show examples of your work either in digital or physical form.
Need a photographer to do resident portrait photos. If you are interested and available, please contact me. See contact information below.

Description
Since 1982, REACH has pioneered affordable housing and supportive programs that address complex challenges facing communities. REACH has gained local, state and national acclaim for innovation and responsiveness to difficult urban issues. Our work began with revitalization efforts in the neighborhoods of inner Southeast Portland, where we bought and renovated single family homes. Twenty-seven years later, our portfolio includes new and renovated plexes, apartment buildings and mixed-use developments located across the city of Portland. Our volunteer-powered home repair program serves senior and disabled homeowners in neighborhoods all over the city.
