FACETS is in need of van maintenance volunteers who help us ensure that FACETS' vans are safe and reliable. Key responsibilities:
- Take vans to gas station to be filled with gas.
- Check van fluids, brake lights, headlights, etc. and refill/replace as necessary.
- Ensure van inspection and emissions are up to date and take in for service if necessary.
- Routinely clean vans both inside and out.
A Valid Driver's license and clean driving record is required. The schedule is flexible but we do ask Volunteers serve at least once a week.

FACETS opens doors by helping parents, their children, and individuals who suffer the effects of poverty - so often unnoticed - in Fairfax County. We meet their emergency shelter, food, and medical needs, help them gain safe, sustainable, and permanent housing, and work with them to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty through educational, life skills, and career counseling programs.
Description
FACETS envisions a day when everyone in Fairfax County has access to adequate and affordable housing and nobody is homeless. We seek to engage and educate our community in providing long-term solutions and resources to break the cycle of poverty for our neighbors in need.
