Caring Heart?
D o you like to provide excellent customer service and reception support? Then a VEAP Intake area is right for you. You'll be able to practice or improve your communication skills while serving with a warm smile and caring heart.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check-in clients; set up appointments over the phone; enter service details in database; answer main phone line.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to multi-task; ability to be patient, diplomatic and communicate with a diverse range of people.
On the job training and support is provided by experienced, knowledgeable staff and volunteers.
TIME COMMITMENT:
M 11:00am-2:00pm
Tu 8:00am-2:00pm
Th 12:30pm-5:00pm
Fr 8:00am-11:00am
Fr 8:00am-12:30pm

Description
VEAP is a basic needs and social services organization whose programs promote access to healthy foods, stable housing and transportation. VEAP’s programs are designed to address a particular need and when used together provide hope and can help avoid a financial crisis such as loss of housing, transportation or employment. Whether the hardship is from a disability, job transition, or the financial and physical stresses of aging, VEAP has been helping our neighbors in need for over 40 years in Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina.
