The Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies (FPWA) seeks a Logistics expert to develop a plan to address and organize logistics, transportation and storage for toy drive donations for our annual Lift Up NYC campaign that is set to secure 25,000 gifts in 2016. Ideal candidates or team of volunteers would be experienced in coordination of large scale logistics that ensure the effective forward, and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of destination in order to meet our community agency needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:-
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and storage/warehousing services
- Help support FPWA’s communications with transportation and storage /warehousing services
- Plan routes to navigate throughout the five (5) boroughs
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
