The 2019 Lowcountry Walk to Defeat ALS and The ALS Association South Carolina Chapter are seeking day of volunteers to assist with the Walk on Saturday, November 9th at James Island County Park, Charleston, SC. Volunteer hours are 7:00 am -- 1:00 pm Volunteer Duties needed include: Overflow Parking attendant; event registration set-up and breakdown; assist at participant registration table with walk-up registrations, donations, and distribution of participant t-shirts, volunteer face painting; course marshalls along walk route to direct participants and manning the turn-around point along with water station.
