Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club provides services - based on principles of a youth development strategy - which promote the health, social, educational, vocational, character and leadership development of girls and boys served. Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club play a crucial role in helping young people build a sense of self-worth, enabling them to envision and achieve productive futures.

Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club is designed to give girls and boys, ages 6 to 18, responsible adult guidance, thereby filing needs frequently not met elsewhere. By offering continuous, concerned leadership, the Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club help youngsters grow into mature, constructive adults, better able to benefit from and meet the responsibilities of life in our community.

Young people engaged in activities and programs that enhance their self-esteem and build life skills do not become involved in costly and destructive behavior. They take responsibility for their own actions, encourage peers to do the same, and act as role models for younger boys and girls. This innovative outreach project planned by Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club will provide young people with an exciting, meaningful alternative to the destructiveness of gang involvement, crime and drugs, enabling them to become valuable assets to the community. In these troubled times, that is a dividend well worth an investment of time.
