ORGANIZATION: Native American Connections

  • 3 people are interested

Our transitional housing facility serves 18-24 year-old homeless youth. We need a cook to prepare lunch, assist volunteers who prepare dinner or prepare dinner on days volunteers are not available Monday through Friday. Menu planning for breakfast and dinner preparation over the weekend is also an aspect of this volunteer opportunity.

Full service hours would be 10a.m. to 6 p.m. Another option could be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. OR 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The ability to plan all meals based on the food inventory received through donations is the creative aspect of this opportunity.

You will work in a commercial kitchen with walk-in refrigerator and freezers.

Let's talk if you love to cook!
