Join us as a volunteer at The Coeur d'Alene Walk to End Alzheimer's! Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions! Your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community.
Volunteers will be helping with set up and breakdown of the Walk and will also assist at one of the following stations:
Greeters/Route Marshalls- Welcome walkers as they arrive and help direct them throughout the event
Registration- Assist with registration for teams, individuals and day of registration
Tshirt Tent- Help distribute our Walk t shirts to all teams that have fundraised more than $100
Flower Garden- Assemble and distribute flowers to represent each walker's reason for walking to end Alzheimer’s.
Refreshment Station- Prepare and distribute snacks and beverages for all the hungry walkers
ALZ Advocacy and Programs- Share information about Alzheimer’s Association programs and advocacy efforts. Volunteers will be prepped with information and materials prior to the event
Please note that if one station is in need of volunteers, you may be asked to work at a station other than the one you registered for.
