Potential Volunteer Assignments:
Scorekeeper - Responsible for tallying score and posting on scoreboard during the match as well as recording the final score on the paperwork.

Athlete Escort - Escort athletes to and from bocce courts and to other areas.

Ball Measurer - Measure ball distance in bocce court.

Awards Presenter/Cheerer - Work with the awards team in presenting medals and ribbons to athletes.

Attire: Please dress for comfort and mobility. Wear comfortable shoes - you will be on your feet most of the time.

Parking: Free parking is available at Veterans Park.

For security purposes, please make sure to bring a current photo ID with you to the volunteer check-in area.

Minors MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Special Olympics Texas serves more than 55,000 athletes: male and female, children and adults. We offer local, area, regional, and state competitions in 22 different sports. We have 4 regional offices and 19 area offices located around the state of Texas.
