Athenas Canine Companions is a non-profit grass roots all volunteer Minnesota organization that assists families through local fundraisers to obtain trained service dogs for Veterans with combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
We are hosting our annual event which will be held on Saturday October 8th, which we have been blessed to secure one of Comedy Central's comedians. We could really use someone to help promote this event, especially someone who knows how to connect events to free local twin cities advertising. This will not be our only fundraiser this year so no committment is asked unless you find our non-profit a good fit.

We work directly with veteran families to reach their personal goal of obtaining a trained service dog to assist them with their support and provide these families with a hands on experience. We organize and promote community fundraisers throughout the year and host one large annual event.
