Inventory for small museum gift shop. Detail oriented person needed to inventory and monitor goods for re-ordering. Training provided, no skills required other than basic math and reading.

Merchandise consists of small gift items and tools, books and threads for making lace.

Hours are flexible.

Mission Statement

To preserve the art of lace making, to exhibit lace and its historical use and to offer instruction in all facets of lace making.

Description

The Lace Museum is a small, all-volunteer museum located in Fremont, California. It has permanent and rotating exhibits of lace and lace making tools. Tours are offered for individuals and small groups. The collections are comprised of over 10,000 pieces of lace, lace making tools, ephemera, a library and an archive. Workshops are given both in person and virtually for beginning to experienced lace makers with teachers from around the globe. The museum supports itself through teaching, lecturing, online sales and offsite sales events.
