Athenas Canine Companions is a non-profit grass roots all volunteer Minnesota organization that assists families through local fundraisers to obtain trained service dogs for combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) diagnosed Veterans. ACC is looking for an organized volunteer with good communication skills.
We are hosting our annual fundraiser Saturday, October 8 at the Eagles 34 Hall located in Minneapolis. Our entertainment will be Comedy Central's David Graham. We also will be hosting a silent auction for this event so we need assistance in obtaining donations by sending email requests and coordinating picking up of donations when necessary. This volunteer could completely work from their home computer. Please feel free to reach out to us for more information.

We work directly with veteran families to reach their personal goal of obtaining a trained service dog to assist them with their support and provide these families with a hands on experience.
