PETSNPATIENTS NFP AT THIS TIME IS AN INTERNET BASED RESOURCE NETWORK GATHERING PET CARE PROVIDERS TO HELP SERIOUSLY ILL PATIENT'S resource pet care provider near them. If a Patient can no longer care for their pet while undergoing treatment for serious illness and re-homing is eminent, your help in collecting a medical and pet behavior information with help guide this pet to a private foster family, or network with a no-kill area rescues. We are seeking to prevent the loss of companion animals while a patient is going thru a recovery process, to return home with thier companinon. So many pets get dumped in animal control units without chance for rehoming or a true history of how they got there to begin with and disablity is not a choice. PetsnPatients is a grassroots network of pet care and pet loving volunteers who love pets and understand that seriously ill patients need a little help now and then. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER. we have NO BRICK OR MORTAR BUILDING AT THIS TIME. We attempt to prevent newly-disabled patients from relinquishing or re-homing their pets during a health crisis, by evaluating local options.

It's not just seniors, it's not just low income, it's the middle class person who has a family, maybe a single parent or a couple in an accident, a sudden death. It could be you!

IT IS A FACT, companion pets that are given up without ever having been in a kennel situation are often so stressed the euthanasia is the future they face in animal control units or privately, if there is no time given for the patient to recover.

Why is this happening?

It's a gap, when you can't take care of yourself, who takes care of your pet?
