Get involved in something important

The Salvation Army Portland Tabernacle is kickstarting an afterschool program targeted towards low-income youth, where we will be offering free music lessons, homework help and other extracurricular activities, completely free of charge.

One of the critical aspects of this after school program will be offering a snack and dinner to the students as service to both the student and their families.

In order to help this happen, we are in need of individuals who are able to dedicate between 3-4 hours every Wednesday afteroon during the school year with food preparation and clean up.

Food handlers card is required.
