Key Responsibilities are:
Responsible for ensuring our chapter has all the right people our organization needs to thrive
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit new volunteers
Respond to inquiries and interview potential volunteers
Tag team with Volunteer Coordinator to meet with each volunteer in-person at least once (not including volunteer orientations)
Organize/run regular volunteer orientations
Schedule and coordinate volunteer assignments
Answer volunteer questions as needed
Keep volunteers engaged and excited
Ensure required volunteer forms/documents/waivers are collected, properly filled out and stored
Maintain database with volunteer information and interests
Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to create processes and documentation related to volunteers
- Expected commitment: 5-10 hours/week, flexibility to attend events as relevant to train, manage, and recruit volunteers, attend team meetings

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
