NAMI San Fernando Valley & Santa Clarita Valley Class Coordinators Responsibilities
Class Coordinator
Schedule Family to Family & Basics classes as needed based on demand and list of potential class participants. Work with Education Chairperson to set goals for number of classes to be scheduled.
Work with LACC Coordinator to order and distribute the necessary student class folders, supplies & materials for classes.
Prepare & distribute class supply packets for teachers.
Maintain list of classes, dates and location of classes taught by teachers.
Maintain a list of active teachers and their availability.
Provide support, literature and resources to teachers.
Identify new locations for classes in Easter and Northeaster San Fernando Valley.
Participating Classes:
English Family to Family - 12 week course (for persons with an adult family member)
English Basics - 6 week course (for persons with an adolescent family member)
Goal is to have 15 to 20 persons in each class
