NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the largest volunteer driven organization in the USA committed to education, support, and advocacy for people living with mental illness and their families. We would love to have you join us!
Duties and Responsibilities
***(You don’t have to do it all...Depending upon your skills and interest you can:
- Monitor and post/schedule posts on social media channels
- Develop social media marketing ideas and content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blog posts, etc.
- Assist in launching a social media campaign
- Online outreach and promotion
- Social media optimization
- Contribute innovative ideas for new projects
- (With previous experience, Contribute to our website redesign project)
Work schedule/time Commitment:
Our volunteers have a flexible schedule; exact days and times to be determined according to your schedule.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Miami-Dade County is an affiliate of the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization offering free mental health support, education, and advocacy to those affected by mental illness, and their family, friends, and caregivers through the Miami-Dade area in both English and Spanish.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Miami-Dade County is an affiliate of the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Approximately 1 in 5 Americans will experience a mental illness in a given year, yet only 41% will receive the mental health services they need and deserve. In advocating for the understanding of the complexity of mental health and expelling myths, educating the public, and showing support for the many people affected by mental illness that are working to improve their lives, NAMI Miami-Dade County offers free, safe, and confidential mental health support, education, and advocacy to peers and their families and friends throughout the county in both English and Spanish.
