Do you enjoy writing and editing? Are you interested in discovering and sharing how volunteers help our Plano community? We are looking for a creative writer to interview and write article for our Volunteers In Plano newsletter and website.
Desired skills and experience:
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- A good grasp of interviewing and storytelling
- Enjoy working with volunteers and being part of a team.
- Be able to provide at least 2 writing samples
- Available to write 2 articles a month

The VIP Program makes every effort to involve as many citizens as possible in the actual workings of city government. VIPs are a diverse group with a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. The VIP Program enriches the quality of life in the community by enhancing city services through the individual efforts of the volunteers.
