ORGANIZATION: harmony cares hospice

harmony cares Hospice is looking for veterans and active duty military service members that are interested in helping us honor those who served our country and are now terminally ill. We are working with the "We Honor Veterans" and "Vietnam Veterans of America" programs and have many opportunities to volunteer with patients, as well as with special projects related to veterans.

harmony cares Hospice provides trained volunteers for additional support to hospice patients and families. Perhaps the most important task is their ability to be "good listeners" offering companionship and emotional support.

Volunteer training is FREE and you will receive ongoing support. After training is completed, you can determine how much time to commit to Grace Hospice, as well as communities you would like to serve.
