CAN COOK serves as a resource for the community by providing access to nutritious food and education about daily meal preparation, particularly in areas plagued by food deserts, and addresses aspects of chronic health conditions . The classes are free and open to everyone.
Volunteers are needed from 8am to 1:00pm to help with set up, help participants with preparation and to help with clean up. Volunteers are welcome to stay and eat before clean up as well. If you love cooking and helping others this is a great opportunity to give back to the community!

Description
Cross-Lines is a nonprofit organization that is on the front lines of working with families and individuals in the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Cross-Lines offers participants emergency services such as food, clothing, rent and utility assistance.
