Sort and Stock Shelves at the Food Pantry

The food pantry is busy this time of year! We receive a lot of perishable food that needs to be sorted and placed on our shelves as soon as possible for our clients.

Help our clients receive the nutritious food they need!

Duties Include:

Sort perishables, checking and disposing of spoiled items and repacking items according to product type into containers.

Repackage pastries, bagels and bread products.

Restock items on pantry shelves.

Place sorted products in appropriate warehouse locations

Breakdown cardboard boxes and place in recycling containers

Volunteering occurs on weekdays, Monday through Thursday from 8:45 am until 4:00pm and Friday 8:45 am until 3:00 pm. 2-4 hour shifts are helpful.
