The hard work of our Volunteers are a critical part of how the Florida Park Service meets the operational needs of our parks. We have openings in Visitor Services, Maintenance and Resource Management. If you are interested in working at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and giving back to the community, please contact us.
We have opportunities for Individual Volunteers... local residents that would like to spend some time working at Topsail in a variety of capacities.
And, Camp Host/Resident Volunteers, people who own RV's that would like to stay here at the park on one of our campsites (for up to possibly as long as 4 months in a fiscal year) and be a regularly scheduled Volunteer in Visitor Services, Maintenance or Resource Management, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Description
Topsail Hill offers a wide variety of natural resources including 3.2 miles of secluded, white sand beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall. Three rare coastal dune lakes provide excellent freshwater fishing. Although boats are not allowed, fishing from the shoreline yields bass, bream, panfish, and catfish. Lakes, pristine beaches, old-growth long leaf pines, sand pine scrub, and a variety of wetlands offer a bird-watching and hiking paradise. Visitors may bike, walk, or enjoy a quick ride to the beach on our timely tram service to swim, fish, sunbath, or beachcomb. Gregory E. Moore RV resort features a (non-heated) swimming pool and shuffleboard courts. Furnished bungalows are available for weekly stays. A park store offers a variety of camping items, as well as souvenirs and rentals.
