Please visit the new page to apply.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver are looking of dedicated folks willing to make our girls' soccer season a success!
Each Boys & Girls Club has a soccer program starting at the end of August. We are looking for coaches, assistant couches, and referees for this competitive sports league.
The teams are separated by age. We are a no-cut league so any Club member who is willing to work hard is able to play. Practices are held during the weeknights (Wednesdays and Fridays) from 6- 7:30pm and games are Saturday mornings.
No previous coaching experience is necessary. A general knowledge of soccer rules, basic athletic skills such as running form, footwork and soccer specific skills such as passing, shooting, and goalie skills are necessary.
If you are interested in helping our kids learn better sportsmanship, teamwork, and collaboration- please email Liz Fraley at lizf@bgcmd.org for more details.

Mission Statement
To empower every Club member, through safe and impactful experiences, to: graduate high school with a plan for college or career, contribute to their community and live a healthy life.
Description
At Boys & Girls Clubs, we know the hours between 3:00-6:00 p.m. are the peak hours for juvenile crime and the time when kids are most likely to experiment with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and other risky behaviors. We also know that today in our metro Denver community, children are facing obstacles more challenging than ever before. Kids from low-income families are six times more likely to drop out of school, and 41 percent of kids across Denver are overweight or obese - a number that continues to steadily increase year after year.
Boys & Girls Clubs provide young people with opportunities to engage in programs that help them achieve academic success, take charge of their health by building healthy habits that will stick with them throughout their lives, and foster the skills they need to become leaders in their communities.
Boys & Girls Clubs are there for kids when they need us most: after school, all day in the summer, and even during the school day. Our membership is open to all youth ages 6-18, and for $2 annually, our Club members have access to a wealth of programming that has the power to positively shape and change their lives.
