Kidney Walk is the nation's largest walk to fight kidney disease. Held in nearly 100 communities, the event raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families and those at risk.
Registration begins at 9:00am with the Walk beginning at 10:00am. Event generally wraps up around noon.
There are a variety of opportunities to help including:
Set-Up (will need to come early as Registration opens at 9:00am). Need help setting up tables, chairs, signs.
Greeters (greet people as they arrive and hand out leis)

Blow up Balloons
Sidney the Kidney (Mascot) and 1 person to mind him/her
Face Painter
Monitor Kids Zone
Food and Beverage
Clean-Up

Description
The National Kidney Foundation Serving the Dakotas and Minnesota is committed to taking kidney and urinary diseases from treatment to cure and increasing awareness about organ and tissue donation by:
- Supporting research and research training
- Providing ongoing education to health care professionals
- Expanding patient services and community resources
- Educating the public about kidney disease and the importance of early intervention
- Promoting organ and tissue donation
- Shaping health policy
- Raising vital funds to support programs and services
